PREP PREP PREP...

I call this phase of my life: Think Thick!

 With all of the changes our family has been thru in the last year, it goes without saying that I got a little thick - of which, i have lost 30+ LBs so i'm not as thick as i used to be. :) but there's lots more that I've needed to be thick lately and are not.

 For instance:
  • I need my weather stripping to be thicker. 
  • I need my skin to be thicker. 
  • I need my door jam's to be thicker
  • I need my wallet to be thicker
  • I wish my hair was thicker!
You catch my drift here? And now... we've been praying for my uterine lining to be thicker and i'm happy to tell you it is! Went to the Dr. for my first check up since i started meds and it's going really well so far! so that's all good. 

now we just need to get thru 2 more weeks for implantation! This is SO EXCITING!!! Truly, I'm besides myself and I really hope we continue to have a blessed, safe, productive, successful journey! 

In other news, we had a beautiful fireworks display tonight at the Redbirds game. Happy 4th of July to you all! and to my IP's.

Hello again, friends. Today's installment will be talking about what all I've done since having the twins. I've had lots of positive feedback from my last blog and I want to thank all of you for your continued support, love and feedback.  In my last post, I talked about the emotional ups and downs I experienced but there has been so much more to tell you! Lets discuss the hard stuff...

It's been a while since I've posted... and I'm sorry for that. I am so grateful for the boyfriend and all of my friends/family who have reached out and checked up on me to see how I'm doing.  First question I know you're all wondering... How are the babies!? They are doing amazingly! Their parents are ROCKSTARS!!!! The babies are the sweetest and best nuggets ever!!! I'm so blessed that the parents allow me to keep up with them and see their adorable faces. This was an important aspect for me when deciding to pair up with the parents and they are very sweet to check on me even when they're raising two newborns! Next most common question I get is how are my emotions. This, in my opinion, is the hardest part of the experience/process. I expected to have the emotional roller coaster but there were so many things I didn't expect. I have never been one to hide away from pointing out the elephant in the room... so let's just get into this, shall we...

a world of change

Hi Friends! I know it has been WAY TOO LONG since I've updated you. I did exactly what I needed to do over the Holidays and that was rest and spend time with those I love. This was the first year I did not see my family in Texas. I do miss them so much, but it just wasn't safe for me to travel down there and due to the hurricane recovery, my family wasn't able to come up this way as they're still trying to finish getting their houses back together and find their new normal. But you can bet your rears I rested, napped, played with the kids, spent time with My Favorite and even was able to have a Christmas dinner and spend quality time with my IPs!  Well, when I went back to work last week, I started having contractions and started swelling pretty bad.
